Kramer, Harold

Kramer was born in Illinois on April 7, 1912 and died August 1, 1995 in LaCanada, California. He was known as an easel painter and worked in watercolor, mixed media, and tempera. During his life career he created the original album cover for Capital Records for Huddie, “Lead Belly”, Ledbetter famous blues album. He exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, The California Watercolor Society, 1953 – 1955, the Art Institute of Chicago, and Corcoran Gallery in Washington, D.C.
